Take you to the gay bar song

This late-1980s song about a man's many breakups shows George Strait's funny side. The last point is probably most important. Then they go to a bar and meet up with the rest of the band. Marc and I are both social and inquisitive creatures, and we end up meeting fascinating and friendly fellow bar-eaters wherever we go. Directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, who did their Rock and Roll Circus special in 1968, it did very well on MTV despite the very simple concept the network launched a few months before the song was released as a single, and they were desperate for big-name rock acts. Here, amidst serene gardens behind the coral-colored facade, you can still find the special. Just this past week, we met a couple of really interesting individuals at two different Palo Alto restaurant bars. Joni introduced the song this way on November 29, 1969. On Wednesday we met a famous designer of golf courses who regaled us with his poetry recitations on Thursday night we enjoyed meeting a visionary in 'green' engineering who had been in the field for nearly 20 years.
